Irene fell in love with Harris when she taught here in the 70s and always dreamed of retiring to the island.   Although it has taken longer than anticipated, her dream is finally a reality and she is happily settled in Tarbert.  To keep herself occupied, Irene tried to think of something that would communicate how she felt about Harris and its beauty.   This has resulted in her range of scenic cushions, all of which have local photos printed onto cotton satin. She also discovered balls of tweed trimmings or 'selvedges' which knit up into amazing rugs, seat pads, draught excluders, and a recently added innovative range of covered footstools.  Each item is totally unique as there is no way of knowing which colours will become available at any given time, which is both exciting, challenging and recycling at its best!
